  • The Automotive Controller is responsible for managing the day to day accounting operations of the store to ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with all accounting processes and policies
  • Keep the Leadership Team informed on the trends and cash needs of the business
  • Develop and maintain an effective cash management system & close the books accurately each month
  • Prepare complete financial statements and submit to the manufacturer and management in accordance with established timeframes. Must review, interpret & analyze financial statements and ledgers & work with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies.
  • Preparing all taxes and filing forms with the government
  • Meet with the General Manager/Owner Operator & Department managers regularly to go over business matters, assist with interpreting their reports and develop plans to increase profitability.
  • Work with staff to ensure that corporate initiatives are attained
  • Manage and safeguard the stores assets and ensure that internal controls are in place





  • Exp Required - Five + years of automotive office manager or controller experience required
  • Working knowledge of dealership financial statements
  • Ability to explain information in an understandable manner
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills written, email and verbal
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Effective leadership skills & the a bility to coach and grow a team
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Superior accounting skills and tax knowledge
